A "MAGNIFICENT" REPOUSSE SANCTUARY LAMP CHANDELIER~ that was created circa 1890's (probably Germany) expressly for a "Stone and Thimble English Tudor home" designed by Alexander C. Eschweiler, Sr., the address 910 N. Lake Drive later changed to 3288 N. Lake Drive (Milwaukee, WI). The mansion was almost new when Henry M Thompson and his bride, Stella L Dessert, of Mosinee, purchased the house in 1902. It has since been identified as the Thompson House and detailed in H. Russell Zimmerman's book: "Magnificent Milwaukee Architectural Treasues, 1850-1920", published by Milwaukee Public Museum (see exhibits).
The sanctuary lamp chandelier is 24" tall, with three branches, suspended by chains. Hand hammered out of silver plated sheet copper (or copper alloy), filed, chased, scroll sawed from originally flat sheets of metal. (See exhibits.)

LOUIS XVI TRUMEAU~, parcel, gilt and turquoise painted two part mirror, the upper section inset with oil on canvas, 17 ¼"x22 ¼", labeled on reverse: "Lo Licon L Amour" (The letter from a lover), the mirror lower section appears to be old and original, titled on reverse, overall dimensions 59 ½"x37 ½", French circa late 18th/early 19th C.
