HAND HAMMERED STERLING SILVER CHALICE~, octagonal base set with cross inset, with 11 square-cut ruby-like stones, and set with 36 square-cut ruby-like stones in the "node" of the stem of chalice. The chalice bowl is round, 8" tall, diameter at top 4 7/8", the base is engraved with the following: (in Polish) "Pamiatka Od Rodzicow Wiel, KS. Jan. R. Kolanko 18 Maja, 1940 maker J Piana", weight 25.29 troy ounces. Note: this chalice was appraised February 11, 2008 by T.H. Stemper Co.
