1410 AN IMPORTED WALNUT VICTORIAN SIDEBOARD , the superstructure with hand carved fruit applique in center, a whatnot shelf, the lower section with two top drawers and lower storage compartment with paneled doors, one on each end, 110"x60"x21", American circa 1870-1875. Condition: left ornamental appendage to whatnot shelf missing and one loose ring for handle not original. Opening bid: $3000.

1417 Hammer Price was $10.00 SMALL WALNUT CABINET with 2 small drawers and 2 paneled doors which when opened disclose a compartmented 15 pigeon hole section, 29 1/2" x 26 1/2" x 14". Condition: original had a marble top which is missing. Opening bid: $10
1418 Hammer Price was $22,000.00 ROSLIN, ALEXANDER , Swedish, born Malmoe, July 15,1718, died Paris, July 5, 1793, "Mlle de Puymorin", oil on rebacked canvas, 30 ¾"x26 9/16", labeled and titled on frame lower center, paper label on back of stretcher: "4/110 2293 Mille Puymorin", same paper label on back of frame upper left corner. Condition: under black light , very little inpainting noted at left, basically pristine, some craquelle developing to left and right of image, small chip missing noted at lower left corner on back of canvas upper left corner: "NYCRILIC Oct 1965 and DAMAR DOLL". Opening bid: $15,000.
1419 Hammer Price was $305.00 PAIR OF ROYAL CROWN DRESDEN PORCELAIN VASES , bulbous of shape, with alternating vignettes of floral and figures in landscape settings, gold embellished, having straight long necks flaring slightly outward at the top, heights 12 3/8". Note: purchased at Schrager Auction Galleries, July 16, 1992, cost $337.60 (with tax), see original invoice enclosed in one vase. Condition: one has prior restoration. Opening bid: $150.
1420 Hammer Price was $75.00 A MAHOGANY "POUDRE" (DRESSING TABLE) , knee hole with center hinged lid, mirror backed, when opened reveals a compartment vanity section, having two end drawers, on four straight tapered legs in the Hepplewhite manner. Opening bid: $45.
1421 AN IMPORTANT CHINESE SCULPTED HOLLOW-CAST BRONZE (OR COPPER) FIGURE of a happy God (Hotei) wearing cloisonne robes with flowers and fruit motifs, yellow/green/blue ground, evidence of the beginning of "famille" rose colouration in the enamel and evidence of silver plated trim (to garments), 18"x8", (on wooden stand), circa early 18th C. (possibly late 17th C.). Opening bid: $1000.

Ex: coll: Mr & Mrs William Liebman, U.W.M., Schrager Auction Galleries Sale # 123, lot 79, May 31, 1998, Note: see "Pictures of a Tragedy" in 1901, Rudolf Eickemeyer, Jr., photographer Evelyn Nesbit, "Scandal and Murder Were Her Beauty's Price" by Edward Park. The tragic story of the famous bearty Evelyn Nesbit, one of the "Floradora Girls" of Broadway musical, enamored by Stanford White and Harry Thaw, resulting in the murder of Stanford White by Harry Thaw. Evelyn Nesbit's story made into the film: "Girl on Red Velvet Swing", played by Joan Collins, Ray Milland and Farley Granger. Opening bid: $3000.
