Evaluation of Property

If you have property you wish to sell, please call us to arrange for a free consultation. By appointment, you may bring in your property along with any pertinent information and we will be happy to provide you with information regarding consigning your property for sale at auction. If you have a large collection, we can schedule an appointment to evaluate the situation at your location.

Shipping Arrangements

Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd., can advise you as to how to have your property delivered to our Galleries. Transportation charges are payable by our consignors. In certain circumstances, transportation charges are advanced by Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd., and deducted from the proceeds of the sale.

Schrager Auction Galleries as Agent

Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd., accepts the consignment of property for sale at public auction solely in the capacity of agent for the seller. Schrager Auction Galleries does not own any property sold.

Appraisals

Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd., offers appraisal services for insurance, estate taxation, charitable donation, family division, or other purposes. Please contact the office for further information.

Re-consignment Fee

At the request of the purchaser, and at the sole discretion of the Auctioneer, Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd. may consent to retain on the premises and re-sell any item purchased at auction. Such goods will be subject to an administrative fee of $20 per lot, payable at the time the goods are accepted for re-consignment. In addition, the sale of such goods will be governed by the terms of the current standard consignment agreement. Standard commission fees will be charged in addition to the appropriate re-consignment fees.
